AEW All Out 2024 card and predictions
Will Ospreay (c) vs. Pac for the AEW International Championship
Darius: I’m a big fan of chaos (the concept, not the stable), so I’d be super down for Pac to undo everything MJF and Ospreay did at Wembley and just win the belt here. Pac is a stellar singles champion, and as happy as I am to watch him get high-profile matches, I’m a little tired of watching him lose big one-on-one encounters and only find success in the trios division. Unfortunately, Pac’s last run with a singles belt was as the simultaneous International and Trios Champion, so I highly doubt that they’re running it back. This is guaranteed to be one of the two best matches of the night, and it’s likely going to lead to matches that involve both members of this match and Ricochet, so I can’t complain too much. Still, as a long-time Pac guy, it sucks that the odds are heavily against him again.
Winner: Will Ospreay
Patrick: This match should be insane, but yeah, I agree with Darius. Pac isn’t walking out the winner here. Ospreay has all the momentum in the world and Pac seems busy awkwardly sliding into the Blackpool Combat Club without really acknowledging it.
Winner: Will Ospreay
Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander (Chicago Street Fight)
Darius: This one’s a tough one, and I think the fact that it’s not for Willow’s CMLL title makes it even harder to guess. Since Stat’s heel turn, Willow and Stat are 1-1, with Willow winning in the Owen and Stat winning a shot at the Willow’s CMLL World Women’s Championship. If this was the match for Willow’s belt, Stat would be losing, 1,000%. Now that it’s non-title, I think back to Moxley vs Takeshita from Double or Nothing and I think, “Hey, Willow might still win this.” With that impending Women’s Championship match happening in Mexico, though, I think Kris is going to beat Willow silly and win this one for the bad guys.
Winner: Kris Statlander
Patrick: I like Stat and Stoke, but I think they need to start building a little more momentum than just being a funny combo. The fact that the match is non-title opens up the possibility of Willow losing, and I think that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
Winner: Kris Statlander
MJF vs. Daniel Garcia
Darius: Unlike with Pac, where I’m disappointed to see him lose but otherwise accept the situation, I just cannot accept a reality where Garcia loses this match. MJF can take a loss; he’s not going anywhere, and he can be heated back up with one promo. I’m not saying Garcia is done for good if he loses a match against the rarely losing MJF, but I AM saying that Garcia is a bit of a goober for the foreseeable future if he can’t pull this one off. Of course, there’s always a chance that MJF cheats to win and this feud extends to a later date (for example, both of these New York boys could certainly go crazy at Grand Slam in a few weeks), but Garcia’s had all this time to stew, and he missed wrestling at All In for the second year in a row. I think giving him a statement win at All Out would be a smart move.
Winner: Daniel Garcia
Patrick: Garcia really needs this win, especially since the feud has kinda started and stopped due to AEW’s hectic PPV schedule around this time of year. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if this builds into a longer feud with MJF taking the first win and Garcia getting him back at say, Dynasty or Full Gear. I say MJF cheats out a win here and the story continues.
Winner: MJF
Mercedes Moné vs. Hikaru Shida for the TBS Championship
Darius: I definitely think Mercedes is winning, but unlike Pac where I’m just bummed to see him lose, I actively want Shida to win. I think Shida should have all of the belts. When Shida isn’t on screen, Stokely Hathaway should be asking, “Where’s Shida?” She’s recently started calling herself the ace of AEW’s women’s division, and I think that’s true, which is also why I think she’s a fine choice to beat Mercedes for the TBS Championship. I’m not sure when it’s the RIGHT time to take Mercedes’s championship from her, but it’s not like she’d never hold AEW gold again. Let Shida win the belt, Tony! Anyways, Shida’s not winning.
Winner: Mercedes Moné
Patrick: This totally feels like an apology match after whatever Moné/Baker was. It should be a great contest that finally lets Mercedes show her in-ring chops to the AEW crowd, but I would be absolutely shocked if Shida won here. I do think she sounded more convincing than ever on Dynamite this past week, though, so hopefully this is the start of good things for Shida.
Winner: Mercedes Moné
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD for the AEW Continental Championship
Darius: Okada is winning this, but I have two other thoughts to add to this. First, Okada and Takeshita in the ring is going to be magical, even if it’s not the focus of the match. Second, isn’t the AEW Continental Championship the only one with, like, a REAL gimmick? It’s built for singles matches with no managers, 20-minute time limits, and huge fines for anyone who interferes. Why is this belt being defended in a match that inherently doesn’t follow Continental Crown rules? Once the rules are stripped away, what keeps this from being anything more than the third nondescript midcard belt? Now, if Takeshita wins, ignore every complaint I’ve made. However, I don’t foresee that happening; I just see myself moping about the loss of AEW’s one stand-out midcard belt on Discord for a few months.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
Patrick: Yeah, Okada ain’t losing this. Bitch.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jack Perry for the AEW World Championship
Darius: Jack Perry is not going to retire Bryan Danielson, but he sure is going to try. The funny thing about Jack Perry is that, even if he didn’t always have the character down, he was always a stupendous wrestler. New Japan gave him an edge, and the Elite storyline gave him a real character as the Scapegoat, and I think now’s as good a time as any to give him an amazing match with the best wrestler in the world. Again, he is NOT going to retire Bryan Danielson, but the threat of him doing so should make for some high-stakes drama.
Winner: Bryan Danielson
Patrick: I’m a little annoyed that Perry is Danielson’s first challenger for the World Title. It gives me flashbacks to WWE’s Daniel Bryan coming out of retirement to feud with….Big Cass. No offense to Perry – I’m actually starting to turn the corner with him and enjoy his work, but he is just not even in the same league as the American Dragon.
Winner: Bryan Danielson
Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page (Lights Out Steel Cage Match)
Darius: I’ve thought hard about this one because this is the story I’m the most invested in throughout all of wrestling. I know that, whatever happens in this match, it has to further — not end — the story. That’s how I landed on the cowboy. If Swerve won this, he’d have 3 wins, 0 losses, and one draw with Hangman, excluding the triple threat match they both lost, and while I think that another loss would keep the fire burning within Hangman, I think Hangman winning here continues the thread from Wednesday: the shoe is on the other foot. Hangman has done the most despicable thing (or the most recent despicable thing) between the two, and it made Swerve look anguished. It’s the inverse of Full Gear 2023, as now Swerve is the one I imagine being too blinded by anger to capitalize and get the big win. Swerve is going to lose this match, and it’s going to keep the fire burning within him, much like the fire that burns in Hangman and burned down Swerve’s House.
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page
Patrick: Completely agree with Darius here for nearly every reason. Hangman needs a win in this feud, and I think Swerve will be blinded by rage to the point where he can’t focus on securing the victory. Either way, a Steel Cage match is a rare treat in AEW, and I can’t wait to see these two kill each other.
U4GM- Should You Invest in Rare Armor Mods or Focus on Upgrading Offensive Gear in Fallout 76?
Fallout 76 continues to evolve as one of the most dynamic multiplayer survival RPGs, offering players a vast array of strategies for survival and combat. One key question that often arises in the game is whether you should focus on upgrading your defensive gear with rare armor mods that improve protection or prioritize boosting your offensive capabilities. Both choices have their merits, but understanding the advantages and drawbacks of each will help you make a more informed decision in the pursuit of your Fallout 76 adventure.
The Case for Rare Armor Mods
Armor mods in Fallout 76 are essential for improving your overall survivability, especially when you’re venturing into higher-level areas or tackling powerful enemies. Rare armor mods can significantly enhance your defensive stats, offering improvements in energy resistance, damage resistance, and other useful stats like rad resistance. With the right armor mods, you’ll find yourself surviving longer in combat, taking less damage from enemies, and minimizing the risk of losing valuable resources.
Rare armor mods are particularly beneficial if you find yourself engaging in PVP combat or exploring the tougher zones of Appalachia. The increased protection from radiation, fire, or ballistic damage can make a notable difference in your effectiveness in these hostile environments. Moreover, considering that Fallout 76 is a game that emphasizes long-term progression, investing in armor mods can provide lasting benefits as your character grows.
Buying Fallout 76 caps is often a way players choose to acquire these mods. Rare mods can be quite expensive, especially if you’re hunting for specific high-level boosts, so buying Fallout 76 caps may become necessary to stock up on these valuable resources. When done correctly, purchasing Fallout 76 caps can help you gain access to rare armor mods, giving your character a much-needed edge.
The Case for Offensive Gear Upgrades
On the other hand, offensive gear is crucial for dealing damage quickly and efficiently, especially when you're facing challenging enemies or other players. Upgrading your weapons and offensive mods allows you to take the fight to your enemies rather than relying solely on defense. Better weaponry means you can deal with tough enemies more quickly, minimizing the risk of taking damage in the first place.
Offensive upgrades are especially beneficial when completing missions that require you to clear enemy camps or tackle quests with high-level enemies. The more powerful your weapon, the faster you'll be able to eliminate foes, reducing the chances of being overwhelmed by large groups of enemies. Additionally, having a strong offense ensures that you can defend yourself during PVP encounters with other players, allowing you to outmatch them in combat and increase your chances of survival.
In many cases, players often find it worthwhile to balance both offensive and defensive upgrades. However, depending on your playstyle, you may prefer to specialize in one area. If you're the type of player who enjoys aggressive combat and the thrill of quickly dispatching enemies, upgrading your offensive gear will likely serve you better in the short term. The ability to wipe out enemies faster can save you time and resources, which are valuable in the long run.
Finding the Right Balance
Ultimately, the decision to invest in rare armor mods or upgrade your offensive gear comes down to your playstyle, goals, and the current needs of your character. Both aspects are essential in Fallout 76, and finding the right balance can make a significant difference in how efficiently you progress through the game.
For those who enjoy a more cautious approach, focusing on rare armor mods to improve protection can provide a solid foundation for survival, especially in high-risk zones. If you prefer fast-paced, high-damage combat, then investing in offensive gear upgrades will ensure that you're equipped to take down enemies quickly and efficiently.
As your character evolves and the challenges become more difficult, you may find that a combination of both defense and offense will give you the best overall results. Make sure to continually reassess your gear and mods to suit the challenges you’re facing at any given moment.
In Fallout 76, both rare armor mods and offensive gear upgrades play a pivotal role in your overall gameplay experience. Rare armor mods improve your survivability, while offensive gear upgrades allow you to deal with threats swiftly and decisively. Buying Fallout 76 caps may be a viable option to help you acquire the rare mods you need to stay competitive in both defense and offense.
The key takeaway is to consider your personal playstyle, the types of challenges you're encountering, and your long-term goals. Whichever route you choose, be sure to invest wisely and enjoy the many adventures that await in the vast and hostile world of Fallout 76.
Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s groundbreaking open-world RPG, is filled with many challenges, and among the toughest of them all are the perilous elemental attacks that await players in the game's endgame areas. Whether it’s the scorching flames of the Fire Giant or the soul-crushing frost of the Haligtree, overcoming these elemental forces can make or break your success. Thankfully, Elden Ring offers a wide range of items that help protect against these attacks, ensuring that you remain resilient in the face of adversity.
In this guide, we'll explore the best Elden Ring items designed to bolster your defenses against elemental damage. Additionally, we’ll highlight how to acquire cheap Elden Ring items for those looking to maximize their survivability without breaking the bank.
1. Flame, Scourge and Fire Resistance: Fireproof Dried Liver
The Fireproof Dried Liver is a consumable item that can significantly boost your resistance to fire damage, making it invaluable in areas like the Forbidden Lands or the Mountaintops of the Giants. When consumed, it provides a temporary buff that reduces the damage taken from fire-based attacks.
Not only does it offer protection during boss fights, but it can also be incredibly useful when navigating fiery environments or avoiding environmental hazards, such as lava pits. While the item isn't especially expensive, it’s often available in the inventory of merchants, making it a reliable option for those looking to prepare for fire-based threats.
For those seeking to buy cheap Elden Ring items like this one, checking out the local merchants in key locations, like the Roundtable Hold or the Nomadic Merchant, can be a great way to stock up on these crucial items.
2. Frost Resistance: Flame, Grant Me Strength
The Ice attacks that certain enemies, like the Rime and the Snow Witch, dish out in the snowy regions of Elden Ring can be deadly if not properly prepared. To counteract this, you can use the Flame, Grant Me Strength incantation. This incantation, though focused primarily on increasing attack power, also provides a secondary benefit of reducing frostbite buildup when paired with other frost-resistance boosting items.
While Flame, Grant Me Strength isn’t a direct frost resistance item, it works synergistically with other elemental resistance buffs. By using this incantation alongside frostbite-resistance consumables like the Preserving Boluses, you can effectively counteract the chilling effects of your enemies.
3. Lightning Resistance: Bull-Goat Set
For players who are struggling against lightning-heavy foes like those encountered in Leyndell, the Bull-Goat Set is an essential armor choice. While it primarily boosts poise, which helps resist stagger from enemy attacks, it also offers excellent protection against lightning damage.
The full set can be difficult to acquire, but once you have it, you'll be well-equipped to withstand devastating lightning attacks that might otherwise knock you down or defeat you outright. The Bull-Goat Set’s additional poise makes it a great choice for aggressive tank builds who prefer taking on enemy attacks head-on.
If you’re seeking cheap Elden Ring items for lightning resistance, consider also looking for the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot. It may not directly resist lightning damage, but it temporarily boosts item discovery, making it easier to find valuable pieces of armor like the Bull-Goat Set.
4. Scarlet Rot Resistance: Preserving Boluses
Scarlet Rot is a vile and insidious status effect found in some of the game's most dangerous regions, including Caelid and the Lake of Rot. If you’re looking to avoid the lingering effects of this rot, Preserving Boluses are one of the most reliable tools at your disposal. These consumables not only cure Scarlet Rot but also grant temporary immunity to it, allowing you to move through affected areas more freely.
The boluses can be crafted from various materials found throughout the game world, or they can be purchased at certain merchants. Preserving Boluses are cheap and can be bought in bulk, making them an ideal choice for those preparing for encounters in places where Scarlet Rot is a constant threat.
5. Poison Resistance: Poison Bloom and Clarifying Boluses
Poison is another persistent threat in Elden Ring, especially in areas like the Siofra River and the Forbidden Lands. Both Poison Bloom and Clarifying Boluses can help counteract the toxic effects of this debilitating condition. Clarifying Boluses, in particular, are excellent for removing the poison status effect, while Poison Bloom can be used as a resource to craft antidotes and resist poison buildup.
Having a stockpile of both these items is crucial when exploring areas laden with poison, especially in the endgame zones where many enemies deal high amounts of toxin damage. By keeping a few Clarifying Boluses on hand, you can prevent yourself from succumbing to poison and continue your journey without constantly retreating to heal.
6. Holy Resistance: Sacred Scorpion Charm
For those facing the overwhelming holy-based attacks from bosses like Miquella’s Needle and the Elden Beast, the Sacred Scorpion Charm provides a significant defensive boost against holy damage. This talisman also increases your overall damage output, which is helpful if you're looking to finish your battles quickly. However, it’s important to note that this item also boosts your vulnerability to other elemental attacks, so use it strategically.
While the Sacred Scorpion Charm can be acquired in late-game areas, it’s an excellent choice for players specifically focused on managing holy damage. Pairing it with other holy resistance items can give you a substantial advantage in those critical moments.
Elden Ring's endgame areas can be punishing, but with the right preparation, you can mitigate many of the elemental challenges that lie ahead. Whether you're battling fire, frost, poison, or holy attacks, the game provides a wide range of items to help you manage these threats.
From consumables like Preserving Boluses and Clarifying Boluses to defensive gear such as the Bull-Goat Set and Sacred Scorpion Charm, there's no shortage of tools at your disposal. For those who are looking to equip themselves for these trials without spending a fortune, be sure to seek out cheap Elden Ring items through merchants or by crafting them yourself.
By preparing adequately and understanding the nature of each elemental attack, you’ll increase your chances of overcoming even the most challenging foes that Elden Ring has to offer. Stay vigilant, gather the right items, and conquer the toughest trials the Lands Between has to offer!

The Case for Offensive Gear Upgrades
On the other hand, offensive gear is crucial for dealing damage quickly and efficiently, especially when you're facing challenging enemies or other players. Better weaponry means you can deal with tough enemies more quickly, minimizing the risk of taking damage in the first place.
Offensive upgrades are especially beneficial when completing missions that require you to clear enemy camps or tackle quests with high-level enemies.
